2002
Copa do Mundo FIFA de 2002 ou Campeonato do Mundo de Futebol
da FIFA de 2002 foi à décima sétima edição
da Copa do Mundo FIFA de Futebol que
reuniu 32 equipes entre os dias 31 de Maio e 30 de Junho.
O Brasil conquistou pela quinta vez o
título mundial, depois de derrotar a Alemanha na final.
Foi a primeira vez que dois países sediaram unidos o
evento, a primeira vez que três seleções - França, Japão e Coreia do Sul - estavam
classificadas automaticamente e a primeira vez que uma edição da Copa não
aconteceu na Europa ou nas Américas. Foi um avanço do continente Asiático.

Inglaterra
A seleção inglesa
chegou à Copa com um elenco de alto nível. Eliminada nas quartas-de-final pelo
Brasil, terminou a Copa em 6º lugar
Irlanda
A Irlanda mostrou um futebol consistente, passou de fase
invicta e só caiu na disputa por pênaltis, terminando em 12º.
Camarões
Bicampeões africanos e campeões olímpicos, chegaram com
moral para a Copa. A equipe, entretanto, não rendeu o esperado nos campos do Japão
e voltou para casa bem mais cedo do que imaginava, com o 20º lugar.
Nigeria
Foi uma das vítimas do "Grupo da Morte", que
tinha ainda Inglaterra, Argentina e Suécia, e terminou a Copa em 27º.
Africa
do sul
Faltou pouco para que a Áfricado Sul conseguisse uma
inédita classificação para a segunda fase da Copa do Mundo, mas teve de se
contentar com a 17ª posição no Mundial.
Estados
unidos
Desde a primeira edição, em 1930, os Estados Unidos não
ficavam entre os oito melhores da Copa.
2002
FIFA World Cup 2002 and World Cup Soccer FIFA 2002 was
the seventeenth edition of the FIFA World Cup soccer which brought together 32
teams days between May 31 and June 30.
Brazil won for the fifth time world title after defeating Germany in the
final. It was the first time that two countries together hosted the event, the
first time that three teams - France, Japan and South Korea - were
automatically classified and the first time an edition of the Cup did not
happen in Europe or the Americas. It was an advancement of the Asian continent.

Ireland showed a consistent football, went undefeated

African and Olympic champions, Bicampeões arrived with
moral for the World Cup. The staff, however, did not yield the expected fields
of Japan and returned home much earlier than I thought, with the 20th place
Nigeria
It was one of the victims of the "Group of
Death", which was still England, Argentina and Sweden, and finished 27th
in the World Cup.
South

rating for the second
phase of the World Cup, but had to settle for 17th
position in the World.

Since the first edition in 1930, the United States were
not in the top eight of the tournament.

A Copa do
Mundo FIFA de 2006 ou Campeonato do Mundo de
Futebol da FIFA de 2006 realizou-se na Alemanha1 foi
a décima oitava edição da Copa do Mundo FIFA de Futebol e
foi vencida pela Itália.
Pela segunda vez a Alemanha foi
o país-sede e o único
pré-classificado. Pela primeira vez na história do campeonato, o campeão
do torneio anterior (no caso, o Brasil)
precisou disputar as eliminatórias para
poder defender o direito de participar no torneio.

por Gana em seu último jogo do grupo.Terminaram na 25º colocação geral
Em 10 de junho de 2006, Trinidad e Tobago protagonizou
a primeira zebra da Copa do Mundo ao empatar em 0 a 0 com a tradicional
Suécia. Terminou na 29ª colocação geral.
Chegou as quartas de final e foi eliminado nos pênaltis
por Portugal. Ficou em 7º lugar
Apenas em 2006 Gana participou de uma Copa do
Mundo . A presença ganesa no Mundial
foi boa, conseguindo a classificação para a segunda fase, quando foi
eliminada pelo Brasil. Terminou na 13º colocação geral
Foi eliminada nas oitavas de final pela Itália.
Terminou a competição em 16º lugar na classificação geral.

The FIFA World Cup 2006 and World Cup Soccer FIFA 2006
held in Germany was the eighteenth edition of the FIFA Soccer World Cup and was
won by Italy. For the second time Germany was the host nation and the only
pre-rated. For the first time in the
history of the championship, the champion of the previous tournament (in this
case, Brazil) had to compete for the playoffs in order to defend the right to
participate in the tournament.

whose final was held on July 9

Were eliminated from the tournament when they were
defeated by Ghana in their final group match. Finished in 25th place overall
Trinidad and Tobago
On June 10, 2006, Trinidad and Tobago starred in the
first zebra World Cup to draw at 0-0 with the traditional Sweden. Finished in 29th
place overall.
England
Reached the quarterfinals and was eliminated on penalties
by Portugal. Came in 7th place
Ghana
Only in 2006 Ghana has participated in a World Cup. The
Ghanaian presence in the World was good, and managed to qualify for the second
phase, when it was eliminated by Brazil. Finished in 13th place overall
Australia.
Was eliminated in the quarter-final in Italy. Finished
the competition in 16th place overall.
2010
A Copa do Mundo FIFA de 2010
ou Campeonato do Mundo de Futebol FIFA de 2010 foi a
décima nona edição da Copa do Mundo FIFA de Futebol,
que ocorreu de 11
de junho até 11 de julho. O
evento foi sediado na África do Sul e saiu como vencedora a Espanha
Trinta e duas selecções nacionais foram qualificadas para
participar desta edição do campeonato.

Não fez uma primeira fase muito boa, tendo empatado com
os Estados Unidos no primeiro jogo, empatado com a Argélia na segunda partida e
vencido da Eslovênia. Nas oitavas-de-final, enfrentou a Alemanha e perdeu .
Depois de empatar partidas contra a Inglaterra e Eslovênia, os EUA derrotaram
a Argélia e, assim, venceu o Grupo C. Nas oitavas-de-final, os EUA
perderam para Gana, resultando na eliminação dos EUA da
Copa do Mundo.
No Mundial jogado em casa, os sul-africanos
decepcionaram: na 1ª fase empataram com o México, perderam para o Uruguai e venceram a França na última rodada, mas esses
resultados não foram suficientes para que a seleção passasse às
oitavas-de-final. Foi a primeira vez na história que o anfitrião de uma Copa do Mundo caiu ainda na primeira
fase da competição.
Uma decepção total, perdendo os três jogos (para Japão,
Dinamarca e Holanda)
Na Copa do Mundo FIFA de 2010
Gana foi a única representante do continente africano a passar para a segunda
fase da competição pênaltis. Sendo eliminadas nas oitavas de final.
Foi eliminado ainda na primeira fase, com duas derrotas e
um empate em três jogos
A Austrália estreou na Copa da África contra a Alemanha em 13 de Junho de 2010.
Foi goleada por 4x0 pela Alemanha. O segundo jogo da Austrália foi contra Gana e terminou empatado em 1x1. Em sua
última partida, a Austrália derrotou a Sérvia por 2x1, mas não conseguiu avançar
para as oitavas-de-final.
Após uma vitória e dois empates acabou ficando em
terceiro lugar no grupo e foi eliminada novamente na primeira fase, mas a
seleção surpreendeu a expectativa de todos os críticos, saindo da competição
sem uma derrota sequer, tornando-se assim a única seleção invicta da edição
2010 da Copa do Mundo.

Ghana, resulting in the elimination of the U.S. World Cup.
South Africa
In World played at home, South Africans disappointed: in
the 1st phase drew with Mexico lost to Uruguay and beat France in the final
round, but these results were not sufficient for the selection passed to the
eighth-finals. It was the first time in history that the host of the World Cup
still crashed on the first stage of the competition.
Cameroon
A total disappointment, losing all three games (to Japan,
Denmark and the Netherlands)
Ghana
In FIFA World Cup 2010 Ghana was the only representative
of the African continent to move to the second phase of the shootout
competition. Being eliminated in the eighth-finals
Nigeria
Was also eliminated in the first round, with two defeats
and a draw in three games
Australia
Australia debut in the Africa Cup against Germany on June
13, 2010. Was thrashed 4-0 by Germany. The second game was against Australia
and Ghana finished tied for 1x1. In his last match, Australia defeated Serbia
2-1 but failed to advance to the eighth-finals.
New
Zealand
After a win and two draws ended up in third place in the
group and was again eliminated in the first round, but selecting surprised the
expectation of all the critics out of the competition without even a defeat,
thus becoming the only undefeated selection Edition 2010 World Cup.
